I was paged at 3:30am by a helpdesk person saying my critical application is locked up.
I drag myself out of bed and contact the customer who reported the problem.
After running through some typical questions the customer finally tells me his new wireless mouse is not working.
(at the time wiireless mice were not an approved hardware.)
I ask him to try replacing it with a wired mouse. - it worked.
Customer then said "must be the batteries."
I go back to bed and hope I can get to work at 7:00am
