I work for a federal agency and we just recently completed a nationally deployed modification. As far as the site is concerned, the setup for the modification is to simply putting together a PC. I received a trouble shooting call from one of our sites when the technition could not get the PC to work properly. He told me that he followed the procedure perfectly and he couldn't get the computer to boot up and that we must have something wrong with our mod. I have, of course, dealt with many a technition who was not in the least computer literate so I start with the basics like "is the computer plugged in" and things like that. After about 30 minutes I cannot figure out at all what the problem is, and the technition proceeds to tell me how stupid our modification ideas are and yelling that things were running alot better back when ... blah blah blah. Out of ideas I assume the power supply is busted and as a last ditch effort I ask him to email me the serial numbers of the PC so I can get a replacement out to him as soon as possible. He sighs and proclaims "So you finally admit there is a problem with your (expletive) modification. I will email those things to you in a few hours because they have the power down at our site so all our our computers are off...." hmmmm
