A user has a PDA that sync's with her Outlook Exchange server.
user: I changed my PC password and now my PDA will not Sync.
me: You need to change the password in your PDA as well, call me if you need my help with this.
user: Please help, it says my password is wrong.
Now I visit the user, I get her to write her pasword down for me so as I can type it in myself (she thinks I am calling her an id10t.....doh!!) After 10mins of trying her password, rebooting the device, disconnecting and reconnecting, re-configuring sync options etc...etc... I decide to reboot...
user: This is your answer for everything isn't it?
me: Let's just wait and see what happens shall we.
Ask user to login....surprise...her password does not work. Even though she logged in no more than an hour ago, she had no idea what it was. I was then asked to send her an email explaining how a computer can change her password without her asking it to!! WTF.
