[I just got off this call mere minutes ago]
I work at an ISP. I manage the tech support department and help out on phones whenever needed. Somehow I'm supposed to also find time for web development.
I take a call from a new prospective client who details the project he has in mind. He wants me to build a real estate website that allows users to search an MLS database, plus he wants to be able to make "daily changes" to the website himself (so we're talking Content Management Software here).
Then he asks "how long is this going to take? end of the month? end of the week?"
I guess i should give him a break: i mean its only Tuesday, that gives him most of the week yet, right? (oh, and right now the end of the month and the end of the week are the same thing by the way)
[resounding thud of head against desk]
