I'm "the tech guy" at a small internet company.
The CEO wanted to send out an email directing our subscribers to our newsletter. Our marketing guy wrote the copy, and I forwarded it to the CEO for approval. He approved. I sent it out, yesterday.
I got an email this morning from the CEO that he was "disappointed" in me because the email that went out looked like "spam for canadian drugs".
The kicker is that when we originally discussed this, I recommended sending out the actual newsletter as the body of the email with links back to the site. The CEO himself nixed that one.
So here I sit with little "WTF?" birds flying around my head.
(The marketing guy got no such "disappointed" email, I might add).
