our company's routers come preconfigured with voip settings to our clinets to make phonecalls using the web.
one of them called in saying he can't use the voip feature.after a little bit of searching he mentioned he restored his router to it's factory defaults (the device was in his house), thus effectively deleting all settings including voip.
so i tell him i'll send an email to his workplace with a small program necessary to restore the settings -and the instructions how to run it- attatched.
client: "can't you just fax it to me?'
i shit you not.he wanted me to send THE PROGRAM via fax...
