So I have this friend. She's not the most technophillic girl on the planet. In fact,
she's so uneducated in the qualities of particular programs that she paid for a two
year subscription to Norton when she bought her Dell.

I was unaware of any of this. So you can imagine my surprise when i got a call from
said friend one day. It went something like this:

"Oh! Hi Tash! I love you girl, can you help me with something?"
"Yeah sure babe. 'Sup?" I'm cautious already.
"I bought myself a computer..."
"Oh really? What did you get?"
At this stage, she started telling me about it a while. I kinda tuned out, because she
more or less had no idea what she was on about. In the end, I cut her off and asked
what her problem was.
"Well Norton has found a trojan..."
At this stage, I openly started laughing.
"Why are you laughing?"
Finally trying to stifle it-
"Nevermind hun. Something unrelated. What does it say?"

Her: "Norton has found a virus in an incompleted limewire..."
I fell off my chair. Honestly, I couldn't stop it.

"... so I deleted and uninstalled Limewire, it was pissing me off anyway..."

I snorted laughing. She, of course, started yelling at me. But there was nothing i
could do or say, apart from convince her it was for something unrelated. She wouldn't
understand. Poor technophobe.

"Honey, I don't think I can help you. Go call Norton. You've already paid them your
money, it should be okay. Here's the number, let me know what happens!"

I find out a few days later, that Norton charged her an addition $170 odd dollars to
manually remove the virus. Poor, poor broke dumbass.
